|Introduction|
These guidelines are established so that fans of Rayventage can create and enjoy derivative works (Also known as fan works) and know what the permissions of fan works are in regards to any copyrights held by rayventage.
These guidelines DO NOT relinquish any copyrights held by Rayventage. Rayventage maintains the rights to any content and copyrights under the Rayventage brand.
|Definition on fan works|
Fan works are defined as unofficial goods or content created by individual fans based on the content or copyrights owned by Rayventage.
These guidelines DO NOT cover the use of Rayventage content by registered companies creating mass produced goods. These companies must contact Rayventage to obtain a license to use Rayventage copyrights.
Basically: One person making works using Rayventage: Fine. A company making works using Rayventage: Not fine.
|Merchandise Guidelines|
- Be mindful of the content you create. DO NOT create any objectionable or illegal content using the Rayventage brand or copyrights. Follow all platform guidelines and local laws when posting fan works.
- DO NOT create mass produced goods under a company using the Rayventage brand or copyrights without first recieving and negotiating a lisence to do so.
- Small artist goods such as acrylic keychains, paper artwork prints, Small acrylic standees, pinback buttons, stickers, etc. using Rayventage copyrights do not require a license to create or sell as long as the person who created the artwork is selling them on an individual basis. (i.e: not under a company.)
- 3D artist goods such as Plastic figurines, Fabric plush toys, printed pillowcases, model kits, 3D mousepads, Enamel pins, Printed books, etc. require a license to create for sale and to sell. (However for small artists my license fee is just give me one for free,lol. For companies, we can negotiate terms.)
- Video games Using Rayventage copyrights are allowed as long as they are Free and follow all other guidelines.
- For-profit video games require a license to create and sell. This includes using Rayventage characters as DLC or downloadable content in existing games.
- DO NOT Falsely claim that any fan works are official Rayventage works. You must make clear that you are not officially affiliated with Rayventage unless you have obtained a license to do so.
|Video and picture Guidelines|
- Be mindful of the content you create. DO NOT create any objectionable or illegal content using the Rayventage brand or copyrights. Follow all platform guidelines and local laws when posting fan works.
- DO NOT Reupload content from official accounts with no changes.
- Subtitled clips Are allowed and encouraged!
- Translated and subtitled clips Are allowed and encouraged!
- Unsubtitled clips Are allowed as long as it is cut down from the original length.
- Artworks Depicting any copyrights held by Rayventage are allowed to be posted as long as they are for no profit. (Posting to websites such as Patreon, where access to the content is paywalled are not allowed. Content must also be availible for free elsewhere in some form.)
- IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN to create Or use anything associated with Cryptocurrency, Non-fungible tokens (Or "NFTS"), Artificial intelligence/"AI" Image generation, etc. in regards to any Rayventage copyrights.
- DO NOT Falsely claim that any fan works are official Rayventage works. You must make clear that you are not officially affiliated with Rayventage unless you have obtained a license to do so.
